The city will start issuing parking permits for our neighborhood this Saturday, October 27th. According to the TU To be eligible for a permit, residents must present:
— A valid driver’s license and a valid vehicle registration card, even if neither document carries the applicant’s current address inside one of the permit zones.
— If an applicant’s driver’s license carries his or her current address in the permit zone, he or she will also need to show one other document proving residency, such as a mortgage, deed, lease or closing escrow statement, or tax, utility, phone (land line only), cable/satellite TV, credit card or insurance bill from the last 60 days.
— If an applicant’s driver’s license does not carry his or her current address in the permit zone, he or she will have to provide two such proofs of residence.
